| I am looking for info on Eduart Johann Block, my g-g-grandfather and his wife Anna. Eduart and Anna came to America in November 1880 from Lauenburg, Pommeria. Eduart was baptised in a Lutheran Church in Konitz, West Prussia on 23 Jan 1848. His parents are Carl Ludwig Leopold Bock and Maria Dorothea Friedrica Behrendt, both born about 1818. I am trying to locate information on Eduart and Anna's marriage in Prussia, as I have 7 spellings of her maiden name. We were told that she was of Polish heritage and was Catholic and her father's first name is John. I believe Eduart and Anna were married around 1875 in Prussia. Anna's birthdate is 12 June 1854. These are the spellings that I have for her last name: 1. Von Yonkfosky 2. Penscofski 3. Wasiner 4. Janskovsky 5. Mankovsky 6. Bankoski 7. Funkowski. Eduart himself, had 9 other siblings that I have been able to locate, all born in Prussia. |
