| My ancestor Daniel Lucht, born about 1794 married Eva Rosina Raadke in Zempelburg, Flatow, West Prussia August 29, 1819. Her family was from the Zempelburg area but Daniel doesn't show up in the local records. I wonder if he may be from Lucht family in Gadansk area in 1700s - some Mennonite records list Daniel Lucht and Paul Lucht going back to early 1700s. I am looking for information on LUCHT, RAADKE (various spellings), MAAS, and Martin HARDEL who married Martha Magdalena Kriegel - all in Zempelburg/Sepolno area in 1700-1800s. |

| According to Gustav E. Reimer, "Die Familiennamen der westpreußischen Mennoniten", 2nd edition, edited by the Mennonitischer Geschichtsverein, Weierhof 1963, members of the Mennonite LUCHT family appear in ORLOFFERFELDE (see catholic (!) churchregisters of TIEGENHAGEN 1721 ff.), west of Elbing, and in THIENSDORF, south of Elbing.
